The Inspiration
Nikola Academy is an enrichment program that provide students to nurture their passion in robotics, science and technology to tackle real-life problems. Through a comprehensive interdisciplinary science and technology curriculum, we are dedicated to empowering young aspiring roboticists and scientists to become discoverers, innovators, inventors and creative thinkers.
We draw inspiration from one of the greatest inventors of all time, Nikola Tesla. Tesla developed the alternating-current (AC) power system that provides electricity for homes and buildings. He also pioneered the field of radio communication. He was awarded over 100 patents which inventions transform the society toward the better. His invention penetrates throughout almost every aspect of modern life throughout history.
He was a visionary who was always full of idea to solve the problems of the future, which we can now enjoy. Tesla's other inventions include the magnifying transmitter to transmit an electrical current over long distances; hydroelectric power, the induction motor, improvements to Rontgen's x-rays; and many others. It was also thanks to Tesla's contribution that we can now live with safe electricity. His strong ambition, resilience, motivation and inquisitive mind continue to aspire us.
Our vision is to help create a better world by nurturing the next generation of socially responsible discoverers, innovators and inventors through agile multidisciplinary learning. We commit to nurturing the young generation into having the imagination, vision, creativity, passion and out-of-the-box thinking in creating new technologies and solutions like Tesla.
